I must have been living under a rock, because apparently the doyen of molecular gastronomy, Ferràn Adria, has opened a tapas restaurant. Barcelona – the coolest city in the world – is, of course, the location. Not that Adria is only known for tapas in particular, however, but any tapas-testing ground he touches is de rigeur mention for a blogger having professed an obsession with the topic.
In late 2011, The Guardian visited Tickets, proclaiming:
The design screams diffusion line…Tickets is tapas as democracy, world-class cooking for travellers and Barcelona families who never made it on the winding road to Roses and now never will.
Amen! Glad to hear there’s hope for us democratic tapatistas.
Fifty-four fantastic photos have been posted as a testament to one night at Tickets.
