Big Neighborhood Supper

This awesomely radical (i.e. idyllic) event-meal took place in summer ’09. A local food “performance project” in Urbana, Illinois, it brought together key themes of:

  • community-building
  • communication, and
  • local connections to food/ecology.

by growing food all summer, gathering creative types to create a ”table-stage” then inviting one and all to come take part.

If you can forgive the crappy sound on this video, what comes across is a simple, accessible concept relevant to every community in this world.

I hope to bring this to Montreal this spring!

This amazing project should be of interest to Montrealers. If you are one of them, please communicate with me@!!
